I love to keep my daily routine to the minimum as a working woman i don’t like fussing around too many products.I never thought toners did anything really beneficially and so it’s the same thought as for micellar water however I have been proven wrong. This post is about a fuss free toner literally comes in a spray bottle!!!!Today i will be talking about a Kama product which is much loved and raved about. Its the Kama Ayurveda Pure Rosewater.
Kama Ayurveda is one of the Premium Ayurvedic brand from India. They have a huge list of all natural skincare products. This one is particularly rose water in a bottle as the name suggests. The benefits of Rose water are well known from the olden days.
KAMA Ayurveda Pure Rosewater is made from the roses of Kannauj, a region in North India, rich in white soil conductive to roses’ growth. The Kannauj rose is considered special…it has the same specifications as the Bulgarian rose.
The steam water distillation process used to create this wonderful rosewater ensures a high level of hygiene and unmatched purity.
Rose water is a natural astringent. It balances and restores skin’s PH level and helps tighten pores.
Rose water is also a good non-alcoholic toner. Kama rosewater is a good non-alcoholic refresher that helps remove the residue of the previous cleansing procedures such as removing of makeup. It refines the pores and tones the skin making it ready for moisturizing treatment. It can also be used to damp skin before applying Kama Natural Plant Mask (Lavanya) or Kama Miraculous Beauty Fluid (Kumkumadi).
Kama rosewater can also be used as an aftershave. Aftershaves are basically toners, however because most aftershaves are primarily made of alcohol and perfume, they damage the skin by disturbing the recovery of the mantle, which is destroyed by shaving soap and razor blade use.
It comes in a plastic brown translucent bottle with a black spray nozzle and a transparent protective cap for the nozzle. The packaging is the best I have ever seen. It is travel friendly, sturdy and efficient. It is attractive too.The packaging looks luxurious. The spray nozzles makes it perfect to use as face mist .Just spray away and voila! you are good to go.
Kama Ayurveda uses steam distilled method. Generally, water is mixed with roses, the water is boiled and the water is filter to be used as rose water. In this method, the filtering might not exclude all the impurities. In steam distilled method, when the water is boiled, the steam produced is collected to be used as rose water.
